Onehourtotalk LLC respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we process when you visit our website, contact us, purchase digital products, participate in an assessment, or interact with our corporate profiles. It also explains why we process the information, who may receive it, how long it is retained, and which rights may apply to you.
Personal information means information that identifies, relates to, describes, or can reasonably be linked to an individual. For users in the European Economic Area, the terms personal data, processing, controller, and processor have the meanings given in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

3. Scope and adult audience
This Policy applies to onehourtotalk.com, which currently directs visitors to onehourtotalk.de/us/, to the related German website where relevant, and to inquiries, client communications, Gumroad sales, assessments, and our LinkedIn and YouTube profiles. A specific client project may have an additional participant notice, data processing agreement, or project privacy notice. That project-specific notice controls for the processing it describes.
Our website and services are intended only for adults.
4. Information we collect and where it comes from
Identifiers and contact information. Name, email address, telephone number, profile name, company, role, and other information you choose to provide.
Communications. Messages, inquiry content, appointment requests, client communications, support requests, and project correspondence.
Commercial information. Products purchased, order date, price, country, ZIP code, transaction status, and support history received through Gumroad. We do not receive complete payment card or bank account details.
Internet and technical information. IP address, browser and device information, operating system, date and time, requested page or file, referrer, log data, cookie preference, and security information.
Assessment information. Assessment answers, open comments, group and organizational context, and survey technical data. Our assessments do not ask for names or email addresses, but SurveyMonkey may record technical identifiers such as an IP address.
We collect information directly from you, automatically from your browser or device, from an organization that commissions an assessment or engagement, from Gumroad in connection with a purchase, and from service providers used to operate our business. We do not purchase personal information from data brokers.
5. Why we process personal information
We use personal information to provide and secure the website, respond to inquiries, schedule conversations, deliver Leadership and Business Coaching and consulting services, administer contracts, conduct assessments, deliver digital products, provide customer support, comply with legal obligations, maintain records, prevent abuse, and establish or defend legal claims.
We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not disclose personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or other targeted advertising. We do not use personal information for automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
6. Legal bases for EEA and UK users
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on Article 6(1)(b) for pre-contractual steps and contracts, Article 6(1)(c) for legal obligations, Article 6(1)(f) for website security, communications, service improvement, recordkeeping, support, and legal claims, and Article 6(1)(a) when consent is legally required. Our legitimate interests are balanced against the rights and expectations of the individuals concerned.
7. Recipients and access
Within Onehourtotalk, access is limited to Christian Uhl, Hannah Joester, and the General Manager as needed for their work. We may also disclose information to hosting and cloud providers, survey and ecommerce platforms, banks, payment providers, tax advisers, professional advisers, and public authorities when required for the purposes described in this Policy. We do not provide personal information to advertising networks for targeted advertising.
8. Retention and security
We retain personal information only for as long as needed for the relevant purpose, the client relationship, applicable legal recordkeeping requirements, dispute resolution, and legal claims. Specific periods are stated below. Contract, billing, and transaction records may be subject to different retention periods under US, European, or other applicable law.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. The website uses TLS encryption. Client and assessment files may be stored in a business Google Workspace account and on access-controlled local computers or storage media. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. International transfers
Onehourtotalk LLC is located in the United States. Information submitted to us may therefore be processed in the United States. Where European transfer rules apply, we use an adequacy decision, including the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for participating US organizations, the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, and supplementary measures as appropriate. Government access and individual remedies may differ in countries without an adequacy decision.
10. Website hosting and server logs
The website and the team@onehourtotalk.de mailbox are hosted by ALL-INKL.COM. The provider is Neue Medien Münnich GmbH, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany, and its servers are located in Germany.
When you visit the website, technical logs may include your IP address, date and time, requested page or file, referrer, browser, operating system, data volume, and response status. We process this information to deliver the website, maintain stability, investigate errors, and protect the service. Server logs are generally deleted within seven days. Information related to a specific security incident may be retained until the incident is resolved.

11. Cookies and privacy preferences
The website uses Borlabs Cookie to remember privacy preferences. At present, the only cookie set by our website is the essential borlabs-cookie. It stores the selected privacy settings and expires after 60 days. We do not currently use analytics, marketing, or other non-essential cookies.
If we add a service that requires consent, it will not load until the visitor makes the required choice. You can revise the selection through the Privacy Preferences link in the website footer and can also delete or block cookies in your browser.
12. Contact form, email, and telephone
The Request Appointment and Termin anfragen forms collect name, email address, message, and technical submission metadata. They are intended only for coaching and business inquiries. The submission is emailed to team@onehourtotalk.de and is not additionally stored in the WordPress database.
We use the information to respond and consider a potential engagement. Inquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted 24 months after the last contact. If an engagement results, relevant communications may be retained for the client relationship and applicable legal periods. Please do not submit health information, psychological findings, or highly confidential information through the free-text field. We do not request that information through the website.
13. WhatsApp
Our website may provide a WhatsApp contact option. We currently use WhatsApp on our US and Austrian numbers and expect to change the Austrian number to WhatsApp Business. WhatsApp Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland, provides the service in the EEA. WhatsApp LLC may be responsible in other regions.
If you choose this channel, we process your telephone number, profile name, message content, and related metadata to respond. WhatsApp processes information under its own terms and may transfer information within the Meta group and to other countries. Messages that do not lead to an engagement are deleted 24 months after the last contact. Relevant client communications may be moved into the client file and retained under the applicable client and legal periods. Do not send health information, psychological findings, or confidential assessment content through WhatsApp.

14. Client services and Google Workspace
For Leadership and Business Coaching, consulting, training, and organizational programs, we may process contact and company information, professional role, communications, contract and service information, billing information, and payment records. Our services described here do not intentionally collect health information or psychological diagnoses.
Client and project files may be stored in Google Drive through a Google Workspace business account. Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, and Google LLC in the United States may provide the relevant services. Google offers data processing terms incorporating Standard Contractual Clauses, and Google LLC participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

15. Assessments and culture analyses
Play-to-Win Business Assessments, culture analyses, and similar surveys process professional responses and technical information. We use SurveyMonkey and, in some projects, our own questionnaires with an anonymous return method. Depending on the collector settings, SurveyMonkey may record IP address, browser and device details, timestamps, and usage information. Because technical identifiers are stored, we do not describe the platform-level processing as fully anonymous.
Our assessment questions do not request names or email addresses, and Onehourtotalk does not intend to link an individual's substantive answers to that person. Client reports contain aggregated results. A group is reported separately only when it includes at least five participants. Open comments are summarized or rephrased so that individuals are not identifiable. In a very small team or where a response contains unusually specific facts, indirect identification cannot be ruled out completely.
The privacy roles are defined for each project. The commissioning organization may be the controller and Onehourtotalk its processor. If Onehourtotalk independently or jointly determines essential purposes and means, it may act as an independent or joint controller. Participants receive a project notice explaining the specific roles, legal basis, recipients, and reporting rules.
Raw information that remains personal is deleted 12 months after the project ends. Truly anonymized aggregate results may be retained longer for time comparisons, quality development, and scientific analysis. We do not provide assessment data for individual employment or performance decisions.
SurveyMonkey is provided by SurveyMonkey Europe UC, 70 Sir John Rogerson's Quay, Dublin 2, D02 R296, Ireland. SurveyMonkey may use affiliates and service providers outside the EEA and provides data processing terms and Standard Contractual Clauses for relevant transfers.

16. Downloads and Gumroad purchases
16.1 Direct downloads
PDF files may be downloaded directly from our website without registration. The server log processing described in Section 10 occurs when a file is requested. We do not use direct download information for marketing.
16.2 Digital products sold through Gumroad
Digital products are sold through Gumroad, Inc., United States. A normal link does not transmit information to Gumroad merely because you visit our website. Information is transferred when you click the link and use Gumroad.
Gumroad is the merchant of record and handles checkout, payment, taxes, receipts, delivery, refunds, and chargebacks. Its checkout collects email address, full name, country, ZIP code, product and transaction information, and payment information. Onehourtotalk receives name, email address, product purchased, order and revenue information, and may receive country and ZIP code. We do not receive complete payment card or bank account details.
We use buyer information only to fulfill the purchase, provide the product, and support the customer. We do not add buyers to a newsletter or use their information for targeted advertising. Gumroad acts as an independent controller for its own purposes and as a processor for sellers in certain activities. Information may be processed in the United States, and Gumroad identifies Standard Contractual Clauses as a transfer safeguard for EEA information.

17. Local fonts, analytics, and advertising
Website fonts are hosted locally. Visiting our site does not load Google Fonts from Google servers. We do not currently use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Matomo, or a comparable analytics or advertising tracker on the website. We do not sell personal information or disclose it for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising.
18. LinkedIn and YouTube
Onehourtotalk maintains corporate profiles on LinkedIn and YouTube. Our website currently has no active social media plugins or embedded YouTube videos, so visiting our pages does not by itself establish a connection to those platforms.
When you visit a profile directly, the platform may process IP address, device and usage data, account information, and interactions. If you are signed in, the platform may associate the visit with your account. We process messages, comments, and aggregated page statistics that we receive for communications, business presentation, and service improvement. Platform operators remain responsible for their own processing, and joint responsibility may apply to certain page statistics.

19. Rights for EEA and UK individuals
Depending on the law that applies, you may have the right to access personal data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion, restrict processing, receive portable data, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent for future processing. You may also complain to a competent data protection authority. To exercise a right, email team@onehourtotalk.de. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity.
20. United States privacy disclosures
20.1 Categories, sources, purposes, and disclosures
During the preceding 12 months, we may have collected the categories described in Section 4: identifiers, communications, commercial information, internet or technical information, professional information, and assessment information. Sources, purposes, and recipient categories are described in Sections 4, 5, and 7. We do not intentionally collect sensitive health information through the website or the services described in this Policy. Payment credentials are collected by Gumroad and its payment providers, not by Onehourtotalk.
20.2 No sale, targeted advertising, or profiling
Onehourtotalk does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising. We do not profile individuals to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. Because we do not conduct these activities, there is no need to submit a sale or targeted-advertising opt-out request to us.
20.3 State privacy rights
If a US state privacy law applies to your relationship with us, your rights may include confirming whether we process your information, access, correction, deletion, portability, and an appeal of a denied request. You may submit a request to team@onehourtotalk.de. We will verify and respond as required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision and identifying the request as an appeal.
20.4 California Do Not Track disclosure
Some browsers offer a Do Not Track signal. There is no universally accepted standard for this signal. Our website does not use cross-site behavioral tracking or targeted advertising, so a Do Not Track signal does not change our current processing. We also do not authorize third parties to collect personally identifiable information on our website for their own cross-site behavioral advertising. Where a legally recognized browser-based opt-out signal applies to a covered activity, we will honor it as required by law.
21. Children and minors
Our website and services are intended only for adults and are not directed to children under 13 or other minors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact team@onehourtotalk.de so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.
22. Changes to this Policy
This Privacy Policy is effective August 15, 2026. We may update it when our website, services, legal requirements, or processing activities change. The current version is available at https://onehourtotalk.de/privacy-policy/.
